Stormwaltz I downloaded half of this as "Element 115" off MP3.com in... 1999? 2000? I never got a chance to pay for it. Hundreds of listens later, I'm glad to have the opportunity. Favorite track: Breathless in Silence.

baryon Glad to finally have a copy of this free of the blemishes that the MP3 format causes, thanks to the old mp3.com release channel. This was the album that taught me that MP3 wasn't adequate for me, and I'm enthused to have a wonderful new remaster of it from a lossless source. The new productions added are good too! A very solid ambient-downtempo release that has proved its timelessness. Favorite track: Sawtooth Swimming.

All but two of the tracks on this album were originally released under the title Element 115, now long out of print. At the time the original recordings were made, Element 115, also known as Ununpentium, had neither been discovered or given a proper name. The element was first synthesized in 2003 by a joint Russian/American team in Dubna, Russia. Not long before the rerelease, Moscovium was chosen as its official name.

The versions here have been remastered and are being rereleased along with two new bonus tracks, Airport Phase and Titan Lakes, which were recorded in San Jose, CA, USA in 2016.
